Job Opening - Maternity Cover - Dental Hygienest

Location: Hillsborough, County Down

Hours: 1 day a week. Thursdays in our Hillsborough Clinic. Starting 15th May.

About the Vacancy:

• 1 day a week initially with the opportunity to increase in the future and become permanent.

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienest to join our team for maternity cover with the possibility to become a permanent member of our clinic. With future expansion plans at Martina Collins, it provides you the opportunity to grow with the clinic. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting excellent oral health and ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough dental hygiene assessments.

• Perform professional cleaning, scaling and polishing.

• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques.

• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient confidentiality.

• Adhere to practice policies and infection control standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Dental Hygienist with a valid GDC registration. 

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. 

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
