Martina Collins Dental and Skin Clinic is an award winning, family run dental and skin clinic with an outstanding reputation for facial aesthetics & cosmetic dentistry.  We are currently looking for an experienced injector to join our team.

The team comprises of dentists, hygienists, doctors, nurses, dental therapists, aesthetic therapists and admin staff.  We pride ourselves with a high standard and personal touch. Our team shares the same desire to strive for excellence in the work that they provide and each has their own unique and impressive credentials, qualifications and experience.

Our clinic has an extensive patient base and we invest heavily in our social media and marketing to ensure we have a constant stream of new patients.

About the Vacancy

The candidate must be a nurse prescriber, doctor or dentist with the relevant qualifications and training.  You must have your own medical indemnity provider.

Clinic Receptionist

Receptionist - Full Time 

39 hours a week.

Job Role:

To proactively manage the non-clinical relationship with potential and existing clients, providing first class customer service. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all enquiries from potential new clients, providing information on the services offered by the practice, according to practice brand standards

  • Ensure fast follow-up to all enquiries, with the aim of booking an appointment and achieving new clients for the practice. 

  • Effectively manage the appointment book for all dentists/hygienists/therapists/specialists, ensuring that the daily production targets can be met and the booking system is followed 

  • Proactively market the services of the practice, with the aim of recruiting new clients and selling appropriate additional services/products to existing clients

Including:

  1. Manage the systems for follow-up contacts and recall contacts

  2. Manage the systems for referral and testimonials

  3. Oversee general mailings, proactively manage all follow-up and monitor the responses

  4. Provide information on the practice membership plan (where appropriate) and proactively sign-up/convert members

  5. Involvement in practice open evenings, events and other marketing campaigns

  6. Manage the reception and client lounge. 

Including:

  1. Meeting and greeting all clients, providing a customer-focused and seamless patient journey according to the practice’s brand standards

  2. Welcoming new clients to the practice and introducing them to the practice philosophy

  3. Answer all phone enquiries according to the practice’s brand standards

Job Descriptions

  • Provide and explain payment options where appropriate, take payment and book the next meeting.

  • Manage the referral and testimonial systems

  • Ensure the “front of house” is maintained to a high standard and complete daily housekeeping tasks, according to the practice’s brand standards

  • Monitor and maintain the relevant systems, in order to provide regular reports to the management team on:

  1. Appointment book capacity

  2. New client numbers and referral sources

  3. Treatment plan take-up and follow-up contact

  4. Patient recall response

  5. The systems for the appointment book, and planning for all patients after their appointment with the dentist

  • Ensure that all the relevant paperwork is completed promptly and accurately and that all client records are updated and maintained, according to practice procedures
  • Proactively contribute to regular practice meetings

Skills & Attitudes:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal (including a positive and friendly phone manner) and written

• Excellent listening skills and an empathetic approach to patients

• Dedicated to providing a first class customer service experience

• Proven sales ability: can spot opportunities, understand and communicate the benefits to the patient, handle objections and close business

• Builds trust and rapport with a wide range of people

• Good organisational skills

• Excellent follow-up ability on all tasks

• Ability to work as part of a team, and alone when required

• Good IT skills

• An ability to bring energy and enthusiasm to any situation and always act with honesty and integrity

• A “can-do” attitude, with the desire to learn new skills and take on new challenges, shows initiative

• Prepared to work according to the practice systems and brand standards

• A professional appearance

• A previous experience in a reception role or similar is preferred
