Dental Hygiene Belfast

About Service

We are so fortunate to have a fantastic team of hygienists and therapists at the clinic. If it is your first hygiene visit or you come regularly, our hygienists will always make you feel welcome. They play such a vital role in looking after your teeth and gums so it is so important to attend regularly.

Regular visits to your hygienist puts you in the best position for detecting any oral health problems before they become symptomatic or require treatment. Hygienists are trained to thoroughly clean your teeth and gums. Even the best electric toothbrush can’t reach every part of your mouth but a hygienist can get to those hard to reach places to provide a professional deep clean.

A scale and polish will remove harmful plaque and deposits of tartar that, if left, can cause gum disease which is one of the leading causes of tooth loss in adults. In addition to a scale and polish your hygienist will give you oral hygiene advice on how to look after your teeth and gums. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions or concerns you may have.
