About Service

The vampire facial incorporates PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and Skin Pen microneedling. SkinPen is the first FDA-cleared microneedling device that gives your skin the reset that it needs in as few as three treatments, and with the addition of PRP the results are amazing.
The platelet rich plasma is generated from your own blood and separated to get the high concentrate plasma, often referred to as liquid gold. The plasma is then used in conjunction with microneedling which allows the plasma to be penetrated back into the dermis and epidermis layers of the skin. The tiny holes created by SkinPen are rebuilt with new cells that include collagen proteins. New dermal tissues form, rich in collagen and elastin proteins. These proteins improve skin quality, visibly reducing facial acne scars and neck wrinkles, leaving skin smoother with a more youthful appearance.
This treatment can be carried out on multiple areas of the body, including any areas where you want to reduce scarring or stretch marks, the PRP gives the skin an extra boost to kickstart the healing process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Some of the frequently asked questions

What areas can be treated?

PRP with Skin Pen can be used on the face, particularly around the eyes, mouth and nose, the backs of the hands, scars and all over the body, more commonly the décolletage. It can be used to treat crow’s feet, crepey skin, thinning hair, acne scars and wrinkles.

Is there any downtime?

After the treatment you may experience some redness, brusing, swelling and dryness which subsides within 24 - 48 hours. We will provide aftercare instructions to make sure the downtime is as minimal as possible.

Does the treatment hurt?

Your blood will be taken before the treatment to create the platelet rich plasma, this is taken from your arm at the same point as a blood test. Prior to the treatment the area being treated with Skin Pen will be numbed so you shouldn't feel any pain during treatment.
