Replace old silver fillings with tooth coloured restorations which blend with your own teeth for a natural result. White fillings have much better aesthetics compared to amalgam or silver fillings because they resemble the colour of natural teeth. White fillings are discreet and are not visible or obvious to others even when you open your mouth.

The process of changing silver fillings to white is very straightforward. The tooth will be numbed using local anesthetic and the old silver filling is removed. Once all the silver filling is removed the new white composite filling can be placed.

Composite filling material is very strong and has been designed to withstand the forces of biting and chewing food. They are durable and will last for a long time if you maintain good oral hygiene. You will be able to smile with full confidence that your teeth look natural and healthy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most patients do not experience any pain during treatment.  Local anesthetic will be used to numb the area before treatment so it should be comfortable and pain free.
White fillings set immediately so you can eat and drink straight away. If local anesthetic has been used you need to be careful not to drink anything too hot or to bite your tongue when eating.

We ask for the treatment to be paid for per appointment or alternatively we offer interest free finance on treatments over £600.  Our friendly reception team can discuss payment options with you.
