About Service

Contouring or composite bonding can improve tooth structure and the appearance of teeth that are damaged, discoloured or poorly aligned. It is one of the most effective and affordable treatments we offer. The treatment involves using white composite resin filling material to enhance and change the shape and size of the teeth.

The treatment is painless and can be completed in one appointment. Contouring is not harmful to your own teeth as it is non invasive and is a fully reversible treatment. The treatment involves bonding composite material to the surface of your teeth which is then shaped and highly polished.

The results are very impressive and look so much like natural teeth as the composite blends seamlessly with your own teeth. If you wish, we also offer porcelain veneers We can focus on just one or two teeth or do a full smile makeover. Composite bonding also provides a great finishing touch following other treatments such as orthodontics.

We recommend teeth whitening before contouring to give the best results. This can be done with Zoom! In clinic whitening or with a home whitening kit. Your dentist will discuss the options with you.  All our dentists are highly skilled and experienced so you will be guaranteed to leave with a Hollywood smile!

Do I Need To Be Numbed For The Treatment?

No, the treatment is pain free as your own tooth surface is not touched.

How long does it last?

It usually lasts around 5 to 10 years however each patient is different. Your dentist will discuss the longevity of the treatment at a consultation appointment.

Can you still whiten your teeth after getting the treatment?

The white filling material does not whiten however we always recommend whitening your teeth before getting the treatment. We have different shades of white filling material which we match and blend with your own tooth colour to make it as flawless and natural as possible.
