SmileTRU is a series of clear aligners which provides an excellent alternative to fixed braces. Aligners are thin, clear plastic appliances that fit very closely over the teeth and move them in tiny, incremental steps. Aligners are virtually invisible so provide a very discreet straightening option. They are suitable for correcting mild to moderate orthodontic cases.
Impressions are taken and sent to our orthodontic lab for analysis. They use cutting edge technology to design your aligners which are worn for 2 weeks each. Once you aligners are made the first aligner is then fitted by your dentist. Aligners are taken out for eating and drinking but should be worn for a minimum of 22 hours per day. Clear aligners can align teeth in as little as 6 weeks.
